More image tools, same privacy.
Every tool runs entirely in your browser.
How it works
Two ways to resize
Pixels is for exact targets: enter a width, a height, or both. With the aspect ratio locked, one dimension is enough — the other follows automatically. Enter both and the image fits inside that box without distortion. Percent is for quick scaling: 50 halves the image, 25 quarters it.
No accidental upscaling
Enlarging a photo cannot add detail — it only makes a bigger, softer file. So enlargement stays off unless you explicitly allow it. Dimensions are also clamped to a sane range (16 to 16384 pixels) to protect your browser's memory.
Private by design
Resizing uses local canvas APIs only. Your images never leave your device — see the Privacy Policy for the current disclosures.
FAQ
Questions about resizing images
How do I resize an image by percentage?
Choose Percent as the unit and enter a number in the Width field — 50 halves the dimensions, 200 doubles them (only when enlargement is allowed).
Will resizing keep my image's aspect ratio?
Yes, as long as Lock aspect ratio is checked. Enter one dimension and the other is derived automatically; enter both and the image fits inside that box.
Can I make an image larger than the original?
Only when Allow enlargement is checked. Enlarging cannot add detail, so it is off by default.
What format will the resized image be?
The original format is kept when it is JPG, PNG, WebP or AVIF; other inputs fall back to PNG. Lossy outputs are encoded at high quality.
