Terms of use
Clear terms for a simple tool.
Last updated: October 8, 2026
By using SizeMint, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with them, do not use the website.
1. The service
SizeMint provides browser-based image-compression tools, educational guides and related website features. The service is intended for general personal, educational and business productivity use. Features, supported formats, limits and interface details may change as the project develops.
SizeMint is currently free to use. There are no paid plans, subscriptions, or recurring charges; if that ever changes, these terms will be updated before any charge could apply.
2. Eligibility
SizeMint is intended for users who are at least 13 years old. If you are under 13, do not use the service. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use SizeMint only with the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian.
3. Your files and rights
You decide which files to select. You are responsible for having the rights, permissions and licenses required to possess, modify, publish or distribute the images you process. Using SizeMint does not transfer ownership of an image to SizeMint and does not give you rights that you did not already have.
Do not use the service to infringe copyright, privacy, publicity, trademark or other rights.
4. Local processing
The core compressor is designed to process selected image data in your browser. Results are generated locally and offered as downloads. Because browser behavior and hardware vary, you remain responsible for checking an output before relying on it in an important workflow.
5. File-size and quality limitations
SizeMint cannot guarantee an exact byte count, visual quality or output dimension for every source image. Image complexity, dimensions, format, browser capabilities and encoder behavior affect the result.
If a requested target cannot be reached, the tool may provide a best-effort result and identify that the target was not reached. Compression can remove image information or reduce dimensions. Keep an original copy of important files.
6. Acceptable use
You must not use SizeMint to break the law, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, bypass security controls, introduce malicious code, abuse automated requests or deliberately disrupt other users' access.
7. Advertising and sponsorships
SizeMint may display clearly identified advertising or sponsor placements. Third-party advertising is separate from the compressor's controls. SizeMint does not ask users to click advertisements, does not reward ad interactions and does not guarantee that a particular advertisement will appear.
Advertising and sponsorship arrangements do not change the core operation of the image compressor.
8. Third-party services and links
SizeMint may rely on hosting, security, advertising or other third-party services and may link to external websites. Those services have their own terms, privacy policies and availability. SizeMint does not control external services.
9. Availability and changes
The website is provided on an as-available basis. We may update, pause, replace or remove features as the project changes. These terms may also be updated to reflect those changes.
10. Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by applicable law, SizeMint is provided without a promise that it will always be available, error-free or suitable for a particular purpose. You remain responsible for verifying important outputs and maintaining backups.
11. Limitation of responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, SizeMint and its contributors are not responsible for losses arising from reliance on a compression result, service interruption, browser failure, loss of local files or use of third-party services. Nothing here is intended to exclude a right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded.
12. Questions and support
For bugs or feature questions, email idalinux08@gmail.com. Do not submit passwords, payment information, identity documents or other sensitive information through an unsecured public channel.
