Privacy, explained plainly.

This policy describes the information that may be handled when you visit SizeMint and use its image-compression tools. The core design is simple: your selected image is processed in your browser rather than uploaded to a SizeMint image-processing server.

1. Images you select

When you choose an image, your browser gives the page access to that local file. SizeMint uses browser APIs to decode the image, create candidate encodings and produce a downloadable result. The normal compressor workflow does not send the image contents to a SizeMint application server, and SizeMint does not maintain a server-side library of your original or compressed images.

During the session, the browser may hold temporary object URLs and decoded image data in memory. Clearing the tool or closing the page releases the resources used by the page. Your operating system and browser may have their own caches or local storage outside SizeMint's control.

2. Website and hosting information

SizeMint is delivered as a web application through hosting and security infrastructure. Like most websites, the infrastructure may process ordinary technical request information needed to deliver and protect the service. Depending on the infrastructure and request, this can include an IP address or network information, requested URL, timestamp, browser or device characteristics, referrer information and security signals.

This infrastructure-level processing is separate from the image compressor's local processing. SizeMint does not currently operate a user account system or a server-side image database.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

The core compressor does not require cookies to select, compress or download images. Optional third-party services may use cookies, local storage, pixels, web beacons or similar technologies when they are enabled.

SizeMint itself sets no first-party cookies in your browser. The only thing SizeMint stores on your device is a small theme preference (light or dark mode) in your browser's local storage; it never leaves your device and is never sent to a server.

Your browser also provides controls for blocking or deleting cookies and site data. Blocking optional technologies can affect some third-party functionality but should not be required for the core local compressor.

4. Advertising and third-party services

For clarity on what runs on this site: SizeMint pages currently load no third-party analytics, session-replay, or tracking scripts, and no third-party font services such as Google Fonts. All scripts, stylesheets, images, and fonts are served from SizeMint itself. If this changes, this policy will be updated first.

SizeMint may use advertising services, including Google AdSense, to support the project. If advertising is enabled, an advertising provider may process information associated with ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention and, where permitted, personalization. Depending on the provider and your settings, this may involve cookies or similar identifiers, IP address, browser/device information, approximate location derived from network information and interactions with advertising.

5. Consent and privacy choices

Where applicable, SizeMint will use the consent and privacy mechanisms required for the advertising services and jurisdictions in which those requirements apply. The availability and behavior of advertising can differ depending on a visitor's location, consent choices, browser settings and the advertising provider's policies.

If a consent control is presented, you can make the choices offered there. You can also use your browser's privacy controls and the privacy controls provided by the relevant third-party service.

6. Third-party links

SizeMint contains links to pages and services outside the SizeMint website. Once you leave SizeMint, the external service's own privacy policy and technical practices apply. We do not control third-party websites.

7. Children's privacy

SizeMint is a general-purpose image utility intended for users aged 13 and older. It does not provide account registration and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through our contact email, write to idalinux08@gmail.com and we will delete it.

8. Your privacy rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information SizeMint holds about you. Because SizeMint runs without user accounts and keeps no server-side database of users or images, in most cases there is nothing to provide or delete. If you have emailed us, you can ask us to delete that correspondence. Send your request to idalinux08@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

9. Security

Browser-side processing reduces the need for a server-side image-upload workflow, but no website, browser or device can promise absolute security. Keep sensitive files on trusted devices and verify that the browser and operating system you use are up to date.

10. Changes to this policy

This policy may change when SizeMint's features, hosting, advertising or third-party services change. The date above identifies the current version. If the way information is handled materially changes, this page will be updated to describe the new practice.

11. Privacy questions

If you have a privacy question about a specific SizeMint feature, email idalinux08@gmail.com. Do not send passwords, payment details, identity documents or other sensitive information through a public issue or other unsecured channel.
